Sometimes newer shows can get watched to an extent where there’s nothing left to watch with some streaming services on providing the latest series. Looking back at some of the golden oldie series that was released some years ago, they can be appreciated once again.

Mad Men

Created by Matthew Weiner as a period drama series set in the 60s and 70s in New York, Manhattan. It was produced by Lionsgate Television and aired in 2007 and ran until 2015. Running for 7 seasons and 92 episodes.

In the series, the main character is a womanizing advertising executive who goes by the name of Don Draper and portrayed by Jon Hamm. He starts as a creative director at Sterling Cooper and later on becomes a founding partner at the company who changes to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.

House

Created by David Shore, House is an American medical drama television series and ran on Fox network. The Series ran from November 2004 to May 2012. Running for eight seasons.

Set in New Jersey, the main character of the series is Dr. Gregory House, portrayed by Hugh Laurie, who is an unconventional medical genius and has a dependency on pain medication. He leads his team at a fictional hospital.

Breaking Bad

This American Neo-Western crime drama series was created by Vince Gilligan who also acted as producer. Breaking Bad ran for 5 seasons with a total of sixty-two episodes. The series ran from January 2008 to September 2013.

The story is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and centers around Walter White, portrayed by Bryan Cranston. The character is an underpaid and overqualified high school chemistry teacher who struggles with lung cancer. He then gets into crime, distributing hardcore drugs (Crystal Meth) to support his family and reduce their financial stress.

One thing that makes this series so great is the supporting actors who are in the show.

Suits

Suits aired in June 2011 and was produced by Universal Productions and finished in September 2019. In 2018, the series was renewed to start production for its eighth season, but without Adams and Markle. Katherine Heigl was then added to the cast.

Suits, an American Legal Drama Series was created by Aaron Korsh who also wrote the script. The story is set in New York City and follows a college dropout who is extremely talented, portrayed by Patrick J Adams, who starts working for Harvey Spector, although he has never been to law school. The series focuses on Harvey and Mike working on cases and maintaining the secret of Mike who has never been to law school.

The X Files

The X-Files is a science fiction drama television series that ran from September 1993 to May 2002. A short 10th season was also released in February 2016 with 6 episodes. Then an 11th season was also released in January 2018.

The X-Files revolves around two FBI Agents who investigate paranormal cases which have been unsolved. Mulder (David Duchovny) believes in Aliens, while Scully (Gillian Anderson), his partner, is skeptical about the paranormal phenomenon and Mulder’s believes.
